Travel route for our photo safari

South Africa - Botswana - Zambia

The trip starts in Johannesburg, South Africa. The black arrows mark our way "up" towards North Kafue in Zambia which is our northern most destination. The red arrows mark our way back towards our starting poing, Johannesburg. The blue boxes are our campsites/lodges along the way.

In total we drive over 6100 kms in three weeks! A real expedition :-)

Directly towards Botswana and over the bordercrossing at Martins Drift first day

 

The route coming down (red):

Back over the bordercrossing at Martins Drift

Via Polokwane to Shuari Lodge along the road

Krüger National Park, Shimuwini Lodge

Timbavati Safari Lodge outside Orpen Gate, Krüger National Park

Visiting some friends just outside Nelspruit, UmSiSi House campsite
